Well that dumb list of the best magazine articles at least inspired me to start making a list of some of my favorite magazine articles, in alphabetical order by author. (Note I didn’t say “best”; I said “my favorite.”) Some of these link to abstracts because the full article is not online.

I respectfully submit Daniel Radosh’s trend story about trend stories, which ran in GQ in 1998 but is still eerily relevant. Except for all the stuff about Kabbalah.
